As a charity thrift shop, Donated Goods that are clean, gently used, and in great condition are essential to keep our doors open.
What We Need, When & Where to Drop Off Goods
- We welcome a wide array of items such as: Housewares, Clothing, Accessories, Jewelry, Shoes, Craft & Office supplies, Hardcover Books, CDs, DVDs, and more.
- Socks, underwear and bathing suits must be new, and in original packaging or with tags attached. Lamps, clocks, watches, small appliances and electronics should be in working order.
- Donations can only be accepted at the Shop during operating hours, unless specifically arranged for other times with our Staff. PLEASE, do not dump items on our property. We cannot offer pick ups at your location.
- St. Stephen’s will provide you with a donation receipt, but does not set the values of donated goods. Please seek tax and legal advice to determine fair market value. Goodwill & Salvation Army have donation valuations guides for the public.

- Mattresses, Bed Frames, Pillows
- Textbooks, Encyclopedias, used notebooks
- Florist Vases
- Damaged / Stained Clothing & Linens
- Broken Electronics & Appliances / E-Waste
- Open or Expired cosmetics & toiletries
- Large Appliances like refrigerators & ovens
- Hazardous Materials like paint, batteries, chemicals or Building Materials
- Unopened or Open Pet or Human Food
- Copied VCR tapes, burned CDs & DVDs
